AIR INNOVATIONS PATENT AND TRADEMARK UPDATE

(December 26, 2007) Air Innovations' technology is important intellectual property that the company takes aggressive steps to protect.  For the past two years we have been in the process of patenting IsolationAir®, our portable contamination control unit for the healthcare and emergency preparedness industries. We are proud to announce that U.S. Patent and Trade Office recently approved our application (Pat. No. 7,251,953).  Patenting IsolationAir gives AI the exclusive right to make and sell the unit for the next 20 years.  It provides us with a competitive edge in the marketplace and strategically positions Air Innovations as inventive designers and manufacturers. 

Recently, Air Innovations and Floratech® were registered as trademarks in the European Community.  This development is especially important given our expansion into the global arena with the opening of a Floratech sales and service branch in Copenhagen in 2005, and subsequent sales of Floratech products from the United Kingdom to Russia.  We are currently looking for additional Floratech markets in Mexico, Latin America, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. 

Wine Guardian® also is a registered trademark of Air Innovations both in the U.S. and European Community.  Wine Guardian, too, seeks international distribution opportunities.   

Other patented AI technology includes:  Floratech’s Low Profile design (Pat. No. 400,030); a Low Profile and Upright’s return grill and boundary layer airflow (Pat. No. 5,860,289); the Checkstand design (Pat. No. 479,060); and, the Wall of Color design (Pat. No. D496,053).  Patents are pending on the Wall of Color’s shelving system and on HEPAiRx™, a total room air purifier and ventilator used for control of asthma and allergy symptoms.
