IsolationAir®

IsolationAir® can be quickly and easily configured for use as:

• A negative pressure unit to create infectious disease isolation rooms to prevent airborne spread of such diesases as influenze, TB,    SARS and measles:
  
  
• A positive pressure unit to create protective environments for burn, trauma and immuno-compromised patients.

The compact unit uses accepted technologies for filtering and purifying the air, including highly efficient HEPA filters and ultraviolet germicidal light. The unit also offers the unique advantage of providing air conditioning for patient and staff comfort. It plugs into 110v electric current and can be wheeled from room-to-room to enhance isolation capacity on an as-needed basis.

Air Innovations partnered with architects, engineers, medical departments, and emergency preparedness personnel to commercialize and finalize the unit's features and distribution. The unit exceeds the guidelines for isolation facilities established by the Center for Disease Control, American Institute of Architects and American Society ofr Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers for use in an appropriately sized room.
