At Air Innovations, we are applications specialists for niche market air conditioning and environmental control. Our core strength is our ability to understand a particular customer's technical needs, constraints and goals, and then transform these challenges into a packaged solution.
We are a multi-division manufacturer, producing a broad array of patented products across several industries. All products are engineered, manufactured and tested in our Syracuse, New York facility. Our entire technical staff, from engineers to production
employees, has been cross-trained on all our products and follows lean manufacturing principles resulting in reduced production times. This allows Air Innovations to quickly and efficiently transfer resources from product line to product line as customer purchases or design needs fluctuate.
We maintain a dedicated R&D department to test and validate our engineered solutions. This department maintains two test chambers and a Class 1 cleanroom test and demonstration facility. An array of data-logging equipment allows us to test systems inside controlled environmental conditions for extensive periods and continuously record operating results. We also can generate any voltage or frequency power to simulate international operating conditions.
We strongly believe in developing alliances with local universities and other aligned organizations that can help foster the development of certain technologies, which we can then incorporate into solutions for our customers. Some of our collaborators include: New York Indoor Environmental Quality Center; SUNY Albany Nanotechnology Center; Syracuse University's College of Engineering advisory board; CNY MedTech; and, several European manufacturers.
Air Innovations owns a 40,000 square foot facility, which is primarily devoted to production space. Here we have a flexible workstation layout, which allows us to build any make or model unit at any station, at any time; we are not constrained by "production lines." We also have a 1,400 square foot production Class 10,000 cleanroom for clean build of semiconductor and other specialty equipment
