Established in 1986, Air Innovations designs, tests and manufactures self-contained and remote packaged cooling systems, including air conditioning units and environmental control systems for a wide variety of applications. Equipment is produced in a 40,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility in Syracuse, New York.
Specific design and development capabilities include the ability to engineer and manufacture precision environmental control systems and air conditioning units for process cooling within close tolerances and in compact sizes.
We are a lean facility and strongly believe in continuous improvement. Through this process we have reduced production times on most products by over 50%, presenting savings and faster delivery times for all our customers. We combine component and subcontract purchases through a central procurement department, bringing volume pricing to even low volume products. As all of our products are in the environmental control technologies, there are a substantial number of shared vendors and sometimes even identical part numbers across various products. In addition, about 80% of our vendors are located within 100 miles of our facility. This allows for active participation and assistance during both design and production phases.
Our multi-disciplined engineering team has experience in designing electrical controls, refrigeration, piping, airflow, filtration, cabinetry and enclosures. All of our designs are made in SolidWorks, which creates 3D, rotatable imagery during product development. We also have experience in ETL, UL, CSA and CE certifications.
