Air Innovations' portable HVAC system for an airborne laser project delivers cleanroom-quality air directly to the avionics inside Boeing 747's during routine cleaning and maintenance.

This portable, self-contained HVAC system sits outside the plane and is connected via flex duct to the avionics carrying the laser guided missiles. After each sortie, optics in the lasers are recalibrated under the cleanroom-level conditions that our unit creates. The system includes cooling, heating, humidification, HEPA filtration, high static blowers to push through not only the HEPA filters but extensive ducting, and all the necessary controls. This is AI's largest unit built with wheels.
